The Castell has a moving history: In the year 1450 the estate comprised five properties and was inhabited by the eponymous Don Gabriel Claret as hismanor.100 years later,the castlewas expand- ed by a few buildings and stables. The Castell ac- quired its current preserved façade, as well as the layout, at the beginning of the 19th century. It was the goal of the owners – Christine and Klaus-Michael – to restore and expand the Castell Son Claret with its 132 hectares of terrain in its original character with much love for detail, and without affecting its natural beauty and harmony. The director of the hotel, Björn Spaude, manages this Castell, steeped in history, with consummate expertise. He is supported by a team that reads the wishes in the guests’ eyes while remaining discreetly in the background. Perfect, unobtrusive service allows a stay here to become a special experience. The intimacy of the entire building ensemble is guaranteed due to the relatively small number of guests.
