Again, it was much too warm in January and actually everything had turned green and very mushy. With the exception of our Polo ground! Thanks to the excellent work of our main partner, TVB Kitz- buehel, the necessary preparations and arrange- ment had already been made early in December. The first snow was immediately removed from the field so that the ground was able to freeze over in the cold nights. This measure led to the ground being still sufficiently hard in order to use the heavy equipment (for example, those for erecting the tents). The polo field itself was then refreshed with snow from snow depots and per- fectly laid out.Thus,it can be assumed in the future that the necessary operations for the sport are in place for any situation. As the organiser, it is our goal that the conditions on the Münichauer meadow are continuously optimised. The acquisition of the area by the Tourism Association Kitzbuehel was successfully completed a long time ago and, furthermore, the Polo field has seen comprehensive landscape improvement measures. The entire area will still be optimised for events over the coming years. These crucial steps give the event the required future orientation, in order to present you with marvellous Polo events for the next ten years in this wonderful place with incomparable views of theWilder Kaiser.
