I’m mighty proud of our city and the region and I’m always happy to introduce my hometown to guests. Being there for others, taking care of their wellbeing,that is the job which fulfils me – as the landlady of the Rasmushof and the chairwoman of Kitzbuehel Tourismus. No matter from which side you approach Kitz- buehel, it is always an entrance. If you come closer to the opening of the valley, down from the Thurn Pass, through the magnificent steep forests of the southern mountains, your breath will be taken away when the picturesque peak of the Horn catches your eye and then theWilder Kaiser stretches in front of you. And if, coming from the west, the scenery of the southern mountain captures you, and if from the north, the Hahnen- kammwelcomes you invitingly, you feel at home. In love with every season In the winter I love to go for my very personal “Streif ski-run” in the early morning. Before the other ski guests are on the slopes, I glide towards the valley and thus free my mind for the day. The fact that Kitzbuehel has been awarded the “best ski region in the world” for the second time (skire- sort.de) makes me really happy. The award is an acknowledgement of all the people who help and champion this region.
