Schon als Teenie so etwasWertvolles zu bekommen war überwältigend für mich. Außerdem habe ich noch den Stuhl, auf dem ich schreiben gelernt habe, der ist schon 15-mal neu bezogen worden. Das ist so ein kleiner Louis-Quinze-Stuhl, den hat mein Vater mal abgeschnitten, weil ich sonst nicht an den Schreibtisch ge- kommen wäre. Heute steht er in mei- nem Schlafzimmer. Beruflich ist ja gerade einiges los: Du bist auch in der nächsten Staffel von »Das Supertalent« als Juror dabei und dein erstes Buch »Anziehungskraft« steht seit Monaten auf den vorderen Plätzen der Bestsellerliste.Was kommt denn als Nächstes, eine eigene Living- Kollektion? Ja, ich habe nicht so viel Zeit gerade. Aber wenn ich darüber nachdenke, kommt mir sofort der Entwurf für ein Sofa in den Sinn. Für Hotels habe ich ja schon Möbel designt. Gestern erst habe ich bei uns zu Hause eine Sauna einbauen lassen, die ich selbst entwor- fen habe – ich gestalte ständig Sachen. Ich hab schon Tische und Lampen nach meinen Entwürfen bauen lassen. Des- halb kommt da bestimmt noch mal was in dieser Richtung. Für mich kann ich sagen: Ich mag Mode, ich mag Inte- rior und ich mag Schreiben. Das Schrei- ben ist meine neueste Leidenschaft. Ich glaube, wer gern quatscht, kann auch schreiben. Sagt meine Mutter zu- mindest. Lieber Guido, ganz herzlichen Dank für das Gespräch. Dear Guido, in Facebook there are ‘Best of Guido Maria’ groups, your phrases in ‘Shopping Queen’ like ‘Textilsperre’ (clothes ban) or ‘Dieses Kleid tut nichts für dich’ (this dress doesn’t do anything for you) are on everyone’s lips. How does one feel having suddenly become the spokesperson for young women? The viewers have noticed that the phrase ‘it doesn’t do anything for you’ has a lot of truth in it. In general, one should only surround oneself with things in life which are enriching. We often consume randomly and have lost any sense of proportion. Many girlfriends say ‘Yes, super!’ in the fitting room and secretly they think, ‘I hope she will never wear that’.This way,I have become a girlfriend on TV who says out loud if the outfit doesn’t fit. And therefore, we reach a lot of people with that. This, at least, is my mother’s theory, just recently she said: “Guido you are simply the best girlfriend ever born!” You also find a nice word for the candi- dates who are not so fashion-conscious. Because I’m strongly convinced that everybody has something special. I be- lieve that God has distributed fairly. Some people score with a pleasant voice, beautiful eyes or a slim neck – there’s always something that is espe- cially attractive, and that has to be stated some times. In ‘Shopping Queen‘, women who never would have encountered each other in real life get to meet each other. I really like this aspect of the show because sometimes, unexpectedly, soli- darity among the women emerges.
